I have been using Blurb to publish my personal books since their launch in 2006 as they are the best option to turn personal projects into real books. Clearly I am a big fan of holding things in my hand instead of just seeing it on a digital screen or maybe this project wouldn’t have started out in the first place. This year we decided to get the annual book for Portrait Equality printed through them as well. They really are beautiful, I can tell you as I look at one on my desk. The colours are gorgeous and the stories within warm your heart and ignite your passion to travel and connect.
We want to thank Garry Trinh at Blurb for giving us a deal on the books, which allow us to offer them to you at such a reasonable price of just $40. They have also given us a $100 voucher towards Blurb as a raffle prize to give out on the night.
You can use it to make your own book from your own adventures – do it! Or you can purchase any of thousands others made by people with a passion for self publishing.
Blurb is a mash-up of creative freedom with print-on-demand technology. To date, Blurb authors have created more than two million books since the company started, with a new book created every minute. The books are amazing and as varied as the people making them. Photo books, cookbooks, travel books, children’s books, graphic novels, not-so-graphic novels … the list is endless. “If you build it, they will come” has never been more true than at Blurb.
