Baldy the Bald Eagle has been generously provided by FujiFilm for use on Portrait Equality projects. He lives in America and is available for residents of the US and Canada to take on their journeys to far away places. One day he will be named by a donator, but until then, she shall be called Baldy.
Bald eagles are birds of prey living in North America. They are the national bird and national animal of the United States of America, appearing on its seal. Once an endangered species, they have been brought back from the brink due to environmental efforts. These birds return to their own birthplace once they reach maturity and then mate for life. Their adventurous courtship flights include swoops, chases, and cartwheels, in which they fly high, lock talons, and free fall, separating just before hitting the ground.
Consider taking Baldy along with you on your next journey by applying today.
