livia Perry-Smith is from the ‘Mile High’ City of Denver, Colorado. From a young age her parents encouraged her sense of adventure and deep desire to be someone who transformed her surrounding environment. She graduated from The Citadel with an English and History degree, and later moved to Bristol, England for a Masters in International Development. Soon after she packed her bags and moved to a tiny country in the middle of Africa called Burundi.
Describe your own favourite family photo: Growing up my family gathered in Creede, Colorado on the deck of my great grand parent’s log cabin for a family photo. It is our special ‘spot’ and I love looking back at the times when four generations clustered together and smiled with the Rocky Mountains peeking over our shoulders.
