Ever since her love affair with photography began when she was 15, photographing people has always been her favourite type of photography. She loves to capture valuable moments, memories and emotions and be able to look back on every person in her photographs and remember the stories they told her and the connection they had.
Travelling and volunteering are some of Sarah’s passions, and they provide great opportunities for her to expand her knowledge, as well as utilise compassion. Previously, she has worked extremely hard as a volunteer in Thailand and Cambodia at schools, temples and orphanages.
Sarah will be taking Rosella the camera to India with her in October and she says she is jumping with excitement to get to speak with new and different people and make friends them. She is also looking forward to the opportunity this time to give the people she meets:
Sarah hopes to step out of her comfort zone and build up her confidence to talk to new people more than usual and to get to more about them and their way of life.
Her favourite family photo was taken on their sailing boat. It includes her parents, brother, aunty, herself and of course their beloved dogs. When she was young, Sarah helped restore the 80 year old wooden boat with her father.
