Meg is helping us organise our big event next month for the annual benefit gallery exhibition. This is our chance to raise our annual budget to send cameras around the world with travellers like yourself so we can give photos, and not just take them on a wider scale.
Event planner and public relations specialist, Meg Alexander strives to make everyday fun. Meg was incredibly lucky to be able to travel quite often as a child, but was particularly influenced by her experience in South Africa in 2007 where she heard the undocumented stories of children, and witnessed the unrecognized strength of women protecting their families in the face of unimaginable adversity in the townships. After graduating from Syracuse University in 2011, Meg worked for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as a Development Manager specializing in large scale fundraising events.
Recently Meg has reconnected with her love to travel and is taking a 5 month sabbatical to explore new places, appreciate delicious food, and meet interesting people. As part of this journey she was fortunate enough to meet the Portrait Equality team and is thrilled to offer her professional skills to help grow the Sydney based events.
